Ashland Youth Soccer does not organize, run, or have any other association with winter indoor soccer but we we believe that it is beneficial to the players to continue playing through the winter and it is up to individual parents to create/organize teams and enter them into leagues.
Each facility we are listing below offers unique programs, so consider exploring each to find the best fit for your team.
**Forekicks, Teamworks, and MFA are privately owned, and they are independent of AYS and BAYS. As such, AYS cannot make recommendations, and AYS cannot assist with registrations. AYS provides this information for interested parents who want to register their own team for the winter months.**
Indoor Soccer Winter Options in the Area
Indoor soccer provides a good way for players of all ages and skill levels to stay active during the offseason, especially during winter. There are several options available in the area for coaches or parents to organize their own team. And some facilities offer two winter sessions.
If you are interested in playing over the winter, take a look at the following local groups for more information about leagues that they offer and their registration process:

Massachusetts Futsal Association (MFA)
The Massachusetts Futsal Association focuses on the growing sport of futsal, a variant of soccer played on a small hard court with a smaller ball that does not bounce. Futsal is fast—faster than playing on turf—and emphasizes ball control. MFA offers futsal leagues, tournaments, and development programs throughout the winter months.
Key Features:
- Youth leagues based on age
- Games only, no practices
- 5v5 on a hard court (requires hard court shoes)
- NOTE: MFA is a league, not a facility. MFA rents space from various fieldhouses in the Greater Boston area. You may need to travel to a different facility each weekend for games.
