The Kickstarter program helps younger kids develop a love for the game of soccer. Our Kickstarter kids participate in games and activities that will allow them to have fun but also develop skills that will help them in the following seasons when they are placed on teams.
Weather and field conditions permitting, the Spring season will get underway on Saturday, April 23rd and conclude with an end-of-season Cup Day celebration on Saturday, June 18th.
Each session will be held for one hour from 9am to 10am on Saturday mornings, on the turf field at the Ashland Middle School. The sessions will be skills, drills, and scrimmage format, and will be coordinated by Traci Sipniewski, the Ashland High School Girls Varsity Coach. She will be assisted primarily by the high school varsity soccer players, but parents may be asked to assist.
An Ashland Soccer jersey will be provided for your player(s) and as for other equipment, everyone will need to have their own shin guards, soccer socks, cleats (no metal spikes) and a size 3 ball.
