Spring Coaches Clinic for both In Town and Travel AYS...

As a reminder, the AYS KickStarter program will be starting on Saturday, April 21st

The session will run from 9:00am-10:00am on the turf field at Ashland Middle School.

Players should arrive wearing Shin Gaurds under their soccer socks, cleats (no metal spikes), water filled labeled resusable water bottle and size 3 ball.

An Ashland Soccer jersey will be provided for your player.  It is a good idea to write your player's name on their ball and water bottle.

Please ask your child to go to the center of the turf field and introduce themselves to Coach Jensen Shipp each week to receive their field assignment. This is an opportunity for your child to enjoy some independence, and with 65 players, it is important to keep the turf open to players and coaches only. The coaching staff will be the Ashland High School Girls Varsity and Junior Varsity players lead by Coach Shipp.

** Parents are welcome to stay and watch, but they should remain outside the turf area of the field. **

Spring Coaches Clinic for both In Town and Travel

AYS coaches, please make time to attend the Spring Coaches Clinic being held Sunday March 25 from 2-4pm by High School Varsity Coaches Jose Meza and Jenson Shipp at the Middle School Gym.

In Town Coaches: 2:00pm - 3:00pm

Travel Coaches: 3:00pm - 4:00pm

Even if you have attended one of these in the past, your attendance is encouraged as it gives you a good opportunity to learn new drills and skill development techniques to incorporate into practices.

Bill Ames will speak about parent communication and management.

A great moment to learn from both coaches, their philosophies, formations, etc. as we look to maintain a strong link between AYS and the Ashland High School Program.

Wear comfortable clothes and sneakers.
